ECO-EV Range Extender is confirmed useful on electric vehicles

April 28, 2014 - PRLog -- The findings compiled for a Final Capstone Course Project by four Electric Engineering School Graduate students from the Inter American University at Bayamón, have concluded that the ECO-EV Range Extender Concept is not only Feasible, but implementable in all Electric Vehicles in the future.

The study, which took 12 weeks to complete, was presented this past Friday, April 25, 2014 at the School of Engineering building at the Inter American’s Bayamón Campus.

From Drag force coefficients to pricing comparisons between gas and electric vehicles, this group of future Electrical Engineers did not miss any details and were very explicit in their findings.  Additionally, they provided optimal recommendations from the multiple simulations conducted.  These simulations were based on the Prototype Vehicle’s parameters.

To make their presentation even more ecological, they even added a 230W solar to the vehicle.

“The work conducted by these students proves that when it comes to accomplishing tasks on a very limited budget and time constraints, groups can work better together when there is an ultimate purpose to achieve”, Exclaimed, Alejandro Robles, the Inventor and owner of the nuEVaera Electric Vehicle used by these students.

“After this superb presentation, it is now up to the investors and concerned entities to come forward to make this vehicle a reality for Puerto Rico and the world”, stated, Mr. Robles.
