Another Double Gold for Little Vineyards Family Winery

A Summertime Live Music Series to Enjoy with Gold Medal Winning Wines

SONOMA, Calif. - April 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Glen Ellen, Sonoma Valley, CA – April 28, 2014 – Little Vineyards Family Winery, a family owned and operated boutique winery and vineyard in the heart of Sonoma Valley, today announced back-to-back double gold medals for two 2012 Zinfandels and the calendar of dates for their 2014 Summer Band Blend Nights Music Series.

The Little Vineyards 2012 Zinfandel received a double gold medal at the 2014 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. Just a few months earlier, their 2012 Late Harvest Zinfandel received a double gold and best of class honor at the 2013 Sonoma County Harvest Fair. Both wines, 2012 Zinfandel and 2012 Late Harvest Zinfandel, were released in October of 2013. In addition to the acclaim for the Late Harvest Zinfandel, the 2012 Zinfandel received a gold medal at the 2013 Sonoma Country Harvest Fair.

“I’m so proud of my brother, our winemaker, Ted Coleman. As a small, artisanal winery, our greatest joy is hearing from wine club members and visitors about how much they love our wines,” said owner Joan Little. “The recognition by distinguished judges at these prestigious competitions is just like that extra chime of glasses clinking when we share a bottle of our wine with friends and family.”

Little Vineyards 2014 Summer Band Blend Nights Music Series dates are set with a great music lineup. They start May 22 and are held at the Little Vineyards winery. Advance tickets are available for purchase at LittleVineyards.Eventbrite.com (http://www.eventbrite.com/o/little-vineyards-family-winer...) for $14. Tickets include a glass of Band Blend wine and keepsake picnic wine glass. Additional wine will be available for purchase during the event as well as delicious foods available for purchase from local food trucks.
