TVS Global Media Presents NABL Basketball Summer Series on TVS Television Network

CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. - April 27, 2014 - PRLog -- TVS Global Media Company is presenting an eight week basketball series in California City, California on Friday nights in June and July, featuring four of the five teams in the NABL Western Conference- the San Diego Neptunes, the Orange County Ramblers, the California City Dust Devils, and the Seattle Bakers. The winner of the eight week series then travels to Honolulu tto play the Hawaii Chiefs in August in a Best of 5 series.

The NABL is an amateur basketball league started in 1938. Today, it's teams play college, military, and FIBA teams, as well as other NABL teams, to showcase players for professional opportunities wwith FIBA teams overseas.

The TVS Television Network, owned by TVS Global Media, will televise every game of the eight week series on roadcast TV, cable TV, and IPTV platforms.

The TVS Television network, founded in 1960, is the fouth oldest broadcast TV network in the USA. The games will be played in Californi City, California, located midway between Loss Angeles and Las Vegas. Each Friday night in June and July will feature doubleheaders involving aall four teams.

Players on the teams will be recent college players from the three NCAA Divisins and the NAIA. More than 50 players went from NABL teams to FIBA teams in th past five years.

The winner of the eight week NABL program in California City will head to Honolulu in August to play the Hawaii Chiefs, the eight best players on the 'big island'. It will be a best of five series. The Hawaii Chiefs defeated the Akron Wingfoots of the NABL Eastern Conference three games to one in the previous series.
