The Schmooze III -Cleveland’s premier networking event for the entertainment industry

April 25, 2014 - PRLog -- CLEVELAND, OH – May 10 2014. Film professionals are gearing up for The Schmooze III taking place on May 10 at The Anatomy Ultralounge in Downtown Cleveland.  This event focuses on the area’s entertainment industry with a focus on film.

This free networking event is about building individual brands, forming powerful relationships and moving Cleveland's entertainment industry forward.

There will be announcements of upcoming casting calls, industry news and movie trailers from independent filmmakers such as Madwerks Studios (Seeing Tomorrow), Conrad Studios (Wind is Watching), HWIC Filmworks (Swing Lowe, Sweet Chariote) as well as the trailer for the Sundance 2014 Sci-Fi thriller “The Signal” produced by Ohio native, Tyler Davidson.

“Cleveland is a small industry but it is growing. Connecting with talented, like-minded people and supporting each other is the only way we are going to get to the next level,” says Mike Berry of Skip Thomas Productions, creator of the Cleveland based television series “3^rd Floor West”.  Berry has featured several trailers in past Schmooze events.

Tina Hobbs, organizer of the event and owner of HobbsStyle Casting & Production  states, “Actors, crew, vendors, filmmakers, writers, musicians and anyone associated with the entertainment industry should make it a point to be here.  Who you know is just as important as what you know!”

Other filmmakers featured include MAD Vista, Apt. 408, NBlak Productions, Wildfire Media/Arc Film Initiative, 110 Filmz, Fernando Lopez Productions and more.
