Buffalo, NY – April 24, 2014 – Dunn Tire, a leading tire retailer based in Western New York, has named David Simons to be their Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He will report directly to President and Chairman of the Board, Randy Clark. Simons joined Dunn Tire as Corporate Controller in 1993 and has served as its Chief Financial Officer since 1999. Previously, he was a CPA with the Buffalo office of Ernst & Young for 12 years. Simons is a member of the Dunn Tire board of directors and is Immediate Past Chairman of the Sisters Hospital Foundation board. He has also served on the boards of American Car Care Centers and the New York Choice Self Insurance Trust. Simons has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Accounting from St. Bonaventure University and an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Alfred State College. He is a native of Wellsville, NY and currently resides in Orchard Park, NY with his wife Elizabeth, who is Chief Operating Officer of the Heritage Centers Foundation.
