[Jen Lew] Marketing & Design Celebrates 5th Anniversary

(Mattituck, NY...April 2014) Strength and solidity are the key representations of a 5th "wooden" anniversary, and Jen Lew of [Jen Lew] Marketing & Design surely has kept that in mind for her business. The company has helped an array of clients breathe new life into business, launch new projects, and position themselves as leaders in their respective markets. Specializing in social media and branding, the company is celebrating five successful years in business.

While Jen Lew's North Fork marketing company is just five years old, it was years of success in the feature film industry and luxury retail market that allowed her to establish a reputable and thriving business in branding and social media. Working on large-budget films including Saving Private Ryan, Godzilla, and The Patriot provided the necessary tools to work in a fast-paced and creative environment. These tools would become invaluable when Jen Lew launched a high-end housewares retail manufacturing company called Jen Lew Designs in Los Angeles.

Jen Lew Designs produced handmade candles and custom matchboxes that were sold in high-end luxury stores from Los Angeles to France like Fred Segal, Le Bon Marche, Nordstrom and thousands of boutiques. Jen Lew exclusively handled her own marketing program, and garnered impressive attention in the media with recognition in W magazine, Elle, Domino and Lucky. In the midst of creative development and building a successful brand, Jen Lew fell in love with the world of marketing.

It was her position as the Communications Director for NYS ARTS that Jen Lew became a digital pioneer during the Social Media 2.0 revolution. Her greatest achievement at the organization was increasing opt- in email membership from 8,000 to 24,000 within one year. Partnered with her talents in web design, social media became Jen Lew's passion. All of these experiences would ultimately lead to the birth of [Jen Lew] Marketing & Design, which was established in 2009.

Here is where strength and solidity came into play. Jen Lew opened her new business not only during the recession, but right around the time she was diagnosed with lymphoma. Battling cancer while building on a startup only made her stronger and work even harder for clients. Her first client, Love Lane Kitchen of Mattituck, approached Jen Lew with a need for web updates and a social media presence. Other clients include Corcoran associate real estate broker Sheri Winter Clarry on the North Fork, Renee's luxury fashion and furniture store, Pfeifer Plastic Surgery of Long Island and New York City, and Pizzetteria Brunetti of Westhampton. Most recently, Jen Lew launched the new restaurant opening of Pizzetteria Brunetti's second location on Hudson Street in New York City. Her efforts have lead to successful marketing and social media campaigns specifically tailored to each clients' needs.

The successes of Jen Lew have not gone unnoticed by her peers. She has been recognized as the "Best of the Best - PR and Marketing Firm" by Dan's Papers in 2012 and 2013. She has also been nominated in the same category for 2013 along with a nomination from the Long Island Press for "Best Social Media."
