Author of “Creating a World of Difference” to Speak at Hope House Woman’s Tea Event
CEO of Greene Group brings her message of hope to woman of domestic violence.
As a recognized thought leader in her field, Tana wrote her first book, Creating a World of Difference, around the simple premise that focusing on a meaningful life is often times more important than a successful one. This thought encapsulates her business, Greene Group, which is a national staffing corporation that operates in more than twenty states and places more than 4,000 temporary employees in industries ranging from transportation, scientific and light industrial.
“I recognized very early on that we were not in the staffing business, filling positions. We were in the people business, fulfilling dreams,” said Tana Greene, Co-Founder and CEO of Greene Group. “Just like the woman at Hope House, sometimes all you need is someone to give you a chance, and I hope that my personal journey for meaning and purpose will provide them with that encouragement.”
In addition to speaking about her approach to business, Tana speaks to audiences about her own life story and experience with domestic violence. As a member of the Steering Committee to raise money for a new women’s shelter in Charlotte, she advocates on behalf of victims of domestic violence. She currently appears in numerous television, radio and print awareness ads for the education of domestic violence in the state of NC.
