Brosix Not Impacted by Heartbleed

While the Heartbleed bug affected many applications and programs, Brosix was not one of them.

April 23, 2014 - PRLog -- Many people were affected by the OpenSSL vulnerability, dubbed Heartbleed, over the past couple of weeks. This bug was recently discovered, and led to information being compromised across a large number of online services.

Brosix was not one of the companies impacted by this bug, as none of our systems use OpenSSL. Therefore, these systems are immune to this vulnerability, subsequently keeping all of our customers and their data 100 percent safe and secure.

For many people, the Heartbleed bug meant that they had to take some sort of action to ensure that their information was not compromised. Brosix users are not required to take any action related to this OpenSSL vulnerability.

Brosix CEO Stefan Chekanov is glad that his company’s enterprise instant messaging application was not part of this:

We do whatever it takes, day in and day out, to ensure that all of our users and their information are safe at all times. This means keeping an eye out for any potential vulnerabilities, and making regular updates to ensure that nothing like this ever happens.”

It is not the fault of those who were impacted by Heartbleed, but this does not change the fact that this has led to a very challenging situation for many.

The Heartbleed bug caused trouble for many companies and individuals throughout the world, but Brosix was not impacted in any way, shape, or form.
