REDMOND, Wash. - April 22, 2014 - PRLog -- In order to underline the importance of the QA services, here are some quick snapshots of challenges faced by a diverse group of start-up ISV organizations. One of the periodic releases from a Healthcare Information Exchange (HIE) ISV has a performance glitch that seriously impacts timelines of their early customer pilots. A Performance Monitoring Software ISV finds that, in the absence of a test matrix, MS Exchange 2010 compatibility has not been tested and several customers are reporting the same issue taking the entire ISV organization to its toes. Startup product organizations have business challenges like unavailability of concrete product roadmap, extreme pace of product modification, short turnaround time of deliverables / releases / hotfixes, smaller team size, high burn down rate, modest engineering infrastructure. Conventional approach for product organizations is to setup an in house quality organization by hiringa QA Manager and building team under the QA Manager. In the agile software product world, this conventional approach has many limitations such as individual QA manager cannot attract best QA talent single handedly. Talent acquisition has been a significant challenge for product startups. People learn at your cost and then move on and hence there is periodic ramp-up cost. On the other hand, wrong hires at times become liability in the organization. Also with software product organizations people need to be more patient to realize the growth.
