Youth to Business Top Leaders Edition
-- By 2025, Millennials will make up 75 percent of the global workforce, so AIESEC decided to ask them how they would like to be lead. 250 young leaders from over 120 countries and territories discussed different experiences they had being led over their lifetime - what worked well, what was challenging for them, and how they could have reached their full potential.
AIESEC released their Youth to Business: Top Leaders Edition Report on Tuesday titled The Future of Leadership Report. The forum took place on February 25, 2014, in Guangdong, China involving over 14 organisations such as Electrolux, DP DHL, PwC and WorldBlu.
“Events like the Youth to Business Forum, is not just where you get a chance to listen and ask a few questions,” Said Faith Brewitt, CEO of Have Faith in Your Brand. ”The coffee breaks and the workshops; this is where the magic happens...we should continue to do this on a bigger scale.”
The report contains insight on the challenges businesses are facing working with Millennials, and advice and suggestions straight from the generation on how to lead them in the best way to help them reach their full potential and strengthen your company from the bottom-up.
