Recognized as the premier dining venue for outstanding cuisine since it opened, the restaurant has received numerous local and national awards, and has produced three James Beard Award Winning chefs, most recently, Debbie Gold. Other notable American Restaurant alums include: Bradley Ogden, Christopher Elbow, Celina Tio, Alex Pope, Colby Garrelts, Michael Smith, and, Master Sommelier Doug Frost. Led by General Manager Jamie Jamison, accompanied by a highly accomplished culinary team and 11 on-staff sommeliers, The American Restaurant is one of the city’s most iconic and most romantic places to dine.

The American Restaurant is perched atop Crown Center giving diners a spectacular, panoramic view of the downtown cityscape.
