Earth Day and Air Quality Discussed in New Video
The IAQ Video Network releases another educational video about important environmental, health & safety (EH&S) issues.
Every year since 1970, April 22nd has been celebrated as Earth Day. Earth Day is considered by many as the beginning of the modern environmental movement. A major focus of Earth Day is to support environmental education and awareness and a significant component to this is air quality.
“The air we breathe plays a critical role in our health,” said Paul Cochrane, President of Cochrane and Associates, the company behind the IAQ Video Network and the new public outreach video. “Even indoors, polluted outdoor air enters our homes and buildings. There are also a number of pollutants that are generated in many indoor environments that can impact a person’s health. They range from tobacco smoke, radon, and fine particulate matter to mold and volatile organic compounds to name just a few. We hope this video helps to shed some light on air quality issues during Earth Day.”
This educational video was sponsored by a number of organizations and leading industry professionals that help to protect the public’s health. Sponsors include: EMSL Analytical, LA Testing, Mold Solutions & FastMoldRemoval.com, Clark Seif Clark, Zimmetry Environmental, ProcessMAP, Envirotech Clean Air and Healthy Indoors magazine to name a few.
