Journal of Light Construction Publishes New Article By Deck Expert Bill Leys

ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. - April 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Central Coast Waterproofing owner and DeckExpert.com founder Bill Leys' latest article "Scuppers and Drains for Waterproof Decks" was published in Journal of Light Construction, a monthly periodical printed by Hanley Wood, Inc.

Mr. Leys is a contractor in San Luis Obispo California and writes from personal experiences he's had from his time in the field as a waterproofing installer, estimator and expert witness. His firm, Central Coast Waterproofing, installs and maintains waterproof roof decks throughout California for clients.

Decks over living spaces often require drains and they must be properly installed or else the damages can be catastrophgic to a homes interior. Mr. Leys' article discusses what can happen when drains go awry, and the best methods and practices his firm uses to ensure a watertight connection of waterproofing materials to the drain body or scupper.
