Tulsa Chorus is Bound for Vegas
The Talk of Tulsa Show Chorus has won the Region 25 Sweet Adelines COmpetition for the 2nd time and will be representing the region next fall in Vegas
The Talk of Tulsa Show Chorus, which was chartered in 2003, was led by their Director, Frank Friedemann and Assistant Director, Patty Friedemann. Both are certified directors, and have competed with internationally winning quartets. Patty is also a member of the Region 25 faculty. In addition to being crown the regional champions, The Talk of Tulsa’s score qualified Director Frank Friedemann for the status of Master Director, a prestigious award only given to a director who leads a chorus to earn at least 600 points.
The Talk of Tulsa Show Chorus consists of over 60 women ranging in age from 15 to “none of your business!” The women in the group come from all walks of life, but come together for one common purpose, their love of singing. In addition to competing, the Talk of Tulsa performs at community and charity events and puts on educational workshops for the Tulsa community.

Sweet Adelines International has over 1,200 quartets from all around the world, over 600 choruses ranging from 15 to 200 members, over 27,000 female members, and was founded right here in Tulsa, OK.
