-- What kind of space saving staircases (http://arkestairs.com/)
would you choose for your loft? What I like in a loft is how every room is connected to one from another in a big open space, with high ceiling and luminous central room. However it is usually difficult to find the right stairs to fit into your space. At what should you think before looking for your next staircases?
1. The space: Depending on how your loft is structured and arranged you will have to first think on where your stairs will fit better into your room: in the middle? Against a wall? In the entrance?
2. The kind of stairs: Modular stairs or spiral stairs? The spiral stairs are the best ones to gain space as they don’t take up the same amount of regular stairs. It also makes a nice feature for your home and add an element of glamour in the right situation. However being narrowed and small it might be difficult to young children, elderly and overweight people to use them. The circular movement could also be unnerving. Bigger and larger the modular stairs will be a better choice if you want something easier to climb. However the movement is more classical and less original than the spiral stairs.
3. The price: Depending on your budget you could choose between different materials for your stairs as wood, PVC or steel or decide for a railing or not.
A staircase kit could be convenient and also easier if you don’t want to get into big construction. It also give you the possibility to organize your time as you want and get the results that you are looking for, without saying that it is economically more interesting. But be careful when you are ordering it with the measures you will indicate! You don’t want to realize at the end of the assemblage that you got the wrong size!
In this article, I am giving you some tips on how to choose your space saving staircases.
