The YMCA of Riverside County Kicks Off Summer with Free Healthy Kids Day® Carnival for Children, Families, and the Community
RIVERSIDE, Calif. - April 17, 2014 - PRLog -- Riverside, CA - On Saturday, April 26 the new YMCA of Riverside County is celebrating Healthy Kids Day® with a FREE community event to get kids moving and families learning how to live healthier. YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day® is celebrated at nearly 1,900 Y’s across the country with more than 1.2 million parents and kids in attendance. Part of the Y’s efforts to strengthen community through healthy living, YMCA’s Healthy Kids Day® is the largest health day for families. For more than 20 years, Healthy Kids Day® has celebrated kids’ health and continues to teach healthy habits for kids and families, encourage active play, and inspire a lifetime love of physical activity.

The YMCA of Riverside County will hold their Healthy Kids Day®/Summer Kick-Off Carnival at Arizona Middle School in Riverside. This free event is open to the public and will include a variety of fun activities including bounce houses, games & prizes, music, arts & crafts, fitness and sports demonstrations, entertainment, health vendors, delicious food, job opportunities and much more.
