-- For over thirty years, Ann Hosfeld’s inspiration for her beautiful artwork has been the forms and colors of tropical plants. During her college experience at Cooper Union Art School in NYC, she studied with the second generation Abstract Expressionist painters. Moving to the Southwest, Ann established her own style of art inspired by the tropical plants of the southwest.
Ann Hosfeld will be a guest on Spotlite Radio where she will share with her listeners insights about the beautiful pieces of artwork she has mastered over the years. Through her expression of colors and forms, she has created a style that has influenced other artists.
In 2007, Ann opened New Concept Gallery, which is a gallery exhibiting established Santa Fe artists who have shown their work in galleries and museums throughout the country for many years. Ann continues to paint, working from photographs of nature, finding abstract shapes, forms, and colors that motivate her creations.
Don’t forget to listen to Spotlite Radio for the interview with Ann Hosfeld. Ann will be sharing information about her work and the work of many other artists that have inspired her. She will also be informing her listeners of different exhibitions at her gallery this summer, as well as the location of New Concept Gallery on Canyon Road in Santa Fe. NM.
