Big Top Lift off as Quite Great win Circus PR battle
Chaplin’s Circus has appointed Quite Great Communications to handle all their PR matters and will soon be coming to a town near you.
Under the biggest of big tops, Chaplin’s Circus is a unique theatrical performance/
The master minds behind Chaplin’s Circus are Gary Stocker, Mark Foot and Charlie Pakdel. Gary became a street performer in Covent Garden when he was 15 before studying at Oxford and training as a lawyer. Meanwhile, Mark ran away to the circus when he was only 8 years old, where he learned and mastered his craft as a juggler and magician and became a ring master for some of the biggest circuses in the world. The final name in this tantalizing threesome is Charlie Pakdel, a Charlie Chaplin imitator for over five decades. So accurate is his portrayal of Chaplin, Pakdel was selected by Madame Tussauds to model for the Charlie Chaplin waxwork in London. In fact, Charlie Chaplin’s own real life grandchildren refer to him as Grandad!
Co Founder of Chaplin’s circus Gary Stocker said: “Quite Great in our minds were the only company to go with for this project. Their expertise in creativity and showmanship is second to none, all the team totally understand our vision for the project and were really excited about becoming part of the circus family, getting involved and working together”
Pete Bassett commented on the partnership:
