LONDON - April 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Beulah-Home is keeping the passion for knitting alive in the United Kingdom.

British born and bred, Beulah-Home, design and manufacture luxury knitted homewares for contemporary living. Their designs, which are made using traditional knitted skills, are fashionable, unique and perfect for any living space. Inspired by classic designs and traditional techniques, Beulah-Home creates luxury products available in a wide range of textures, patterns and colours to suit all personal tastes. And what’s even better is the fact that all of their homewares are made right here in Great Britain.

Beulah-Home’s contemporary, stylish knitted homewares range consists of luxurious cushions, throws and blankets. Each product has its own identity and name, with some of the most popular products being Daphne, Patrick and Julia. The contemporary designs are created using traditional knitted manufacturing machinery. They are made from a wide range of natural and manmade materials including luxury cottons, metallic threads and quality yarns.

Made in Britain

The manufacturing industry in the UK was once considered to be the very best in the world. Unfortunately it has experienced a decline over the last few decades, with many companies opting to outsource their manufacturing work to countries where labour costs are much lower. Many of today’s younger generations have only ever known for products to be imported, which is why some of them do not see the impact that the decline in British manufacturing has had on the economy over the years.

Beulah-Home’s vision is to breathe a new lease of life into the British knitting industry by doing their bit to keep it alive and well! All of Beulah-Home’s products are one hundred per cent handcrafted right here in the UK. The team has strong British values and is dedicated to showing customers how they can help to create jobs in the British manufacturing industry and invest in skills by purchasing their products.

A vintage re-style

Many of Beulah-Home’s best knitted designs are influenced by architecture. Part of the design process involves refreshing vintage patterns with an inventive use of colour to create fashionable luxury knitted homewares that will add style and character to any living space. Sometimes it is the small accessories like throws, blankets and cushions that can make the biggest difference to a home. They not only add a fashionable element, but something cosy and comforting, which all homes need. Blending fresh and traditional knitting techniques, Beulah-Home create contemporary homewares that individuals will be proud to showcase in their homes.

Simone Harris, the mastermind behind Beulah-Home never meant for Beulah-Home to be solely a homewares brand. Instead she aimed to create a company that not only sold beautiful, fashionable, luxury knitted homewares, but promoted the creation of skills and jobs within Great Britain too.
