Midnight Nursery shares inspiring moral through cuddly baby monsters
Award-winning comic book creator Chris Yambar charms kids with his first children’s book titled “Midnight Nursery”

“I immediately fell in love with this story,”says Kennisha Hill, President and CEO of Bug Love Books, the children’s book division of NyreePress Literary Group. “These are the types of books that are winning the hearts of children, while simultaneously inspiring them. This brings a gigantic smile to my heart!”
While Chris has worked with many of the most popular comic book characters in the world, his primary love is creating his own brand of characters, like Mr. Beat, El Mucho Grande and Itsi Kitsi - Happy Adventure Cat. He is always on the road lecturing at schools and signing his work. Now he has something else to talk about: MIDNIGHT NURSERY.
"Midnight Nursery is my first official children's book," an excited Yambar states. "I've had these characters running around in my head for years. It's nice to see them get a chance to play outside and run amok.
"When monster parents have to work the graveyard shift, they drop their children off at the Midnight Nursery," Chris explains. "There are always adventures to have and friendships to build in every book.
“An added bonus for me,” he continues, “is being able to have my first children’s book illustrated by my longtime friend and fellow cartoonist, Jamie Cosley. In my opinion, Jamie’s style puts the ‘Q’ in the word ‘Cute.’”
Don't be nervous. Frank-N-Bolts, Diaper Bat, Kitty Kate, Blobby Jones and the gang are ready to welcome you at the door and invite you into a world of imagination and fun.
Midnight Nursery will release from Bug Love Books in June 2014 and will be available for sale on Amazon, Barnes and Noble’s website, and Books-a-million. Learn more about Chris Yambar by visiting http://www.yambar.com.
