HAMDEN, Conn. - April 15, 2014 - PRLog -- The stage has been set for the Sleeping Giant Cup: Hamden’s Finest vs. Hamden’s Bravest

:          In-town bragging rights are on the line as members of the Hamden police and fire department will come to together to on Saturday, April 19th to raise money for the Connecticut Chapter of House of  Heroes.

Dubbed “The Finest Vs. The Bravest,” this grudge match features members of the Hamden Police Department playing against members of the Hamden Fire Department..

Why:          All proceeds from this fundraising event will go to House of Heroes, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free home repairs to military and public service veterans who cannot afford the repairs and/or are not physically capable of undertaking the repair work.

When:          Saturday, April 19 at 2:00 PM

Where:          Louis Astorino Ice Rink, 595 Mix Ave, Hamden

How:          Donations of $10/Individual or $20/Family
