Bridal Beauty Must-Haves for 2014
Water Proof Mascara
Even if you think you’re not going to cry, you might! Test drive the mascara, though. A lot of waterproof formulas are very thin and make you look like you have three lashes.
The great thing about individual lashes is that you don’t even know you’re wearing them. They’re dropped right on top of your own lashes and they give you big, beautiful, expressive eyes that look amazing in pictures. And stay away from the medium and long lengths -- the short ones are long enough, trust me. I rarely have to use Mediums and the Longs are completely out of the question. You want Knot Free because they lay flat and you can’t see them.
I can’t emphasize enough how important blush is. And please, blush the color of dry toast is NOT natural looking. I mean, who blushes that color? You want something in the pinky/berry family. And if you are wearing a white gown, please check your blush again once you are dressed. White tends to wash color out of your face and you will probably need to add more.
Indelible Gel Liner
A thin line placed close to lashes will really accentuate your eyes in photos. And it will stay put until you take it off.
Use it to soften hot spots, like forehead, chin and nose. You want to glow, not glare. Also good for quickly checking teeth after eating. Look for a sheer powder that will take down shine without adding any color.
Lip gloss is soft, pretty and easy to reapply. Stay away from anything with a patent leather finish or a lot of sparkle.
