HGTV’S EGYPT SHERROD To Host 5th Annual HAT-TITUDE Big Hat Brunch

ATLANTA - April 15, 2014 - PRLog -- In a major show of support for the cause, avowed philanthropist and host of HGTV’s highly rated series “Property Virgins”, Egypt Sherrod has committed to serve as host of the 5^th Annual Hat-titude Big Hat Brunch, held on Sunday, June 8^th 2014 @ Summerour Studios, 409 Bishop Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30318.

Hat-titude was created toraise money and awareness for deserving charities who are fueled with the fight against cancer and to give men and women a platform to fight against the disease. Sherrod will lend her award-winning media talent to this year’s highly anticipated event - joining with some of Atlanta’s most affluent and influential citizens – to help rally support for lessening the impact of the multi-faceted and too often deadly disease. The attire is set as a Big Hat Brunch affair, where the attendees are encouraged to wear hats of different colors to represent cancer’s various forms.

Egypt, a devoted mother, loving wife and a successful business and real estate entrepreneur has long been committed to making a difference in the lives of others, including establishing the namesake “Egypt Cares Family Foundation” to aid in bridging the socioeconomic gaps within the urban family structure. Egypt Cares regularly hosts seminars and clinics to educate families on home ownership, financial planning, career advancement and, appropriately, health awareness. Thus, her contribution to Hat-titude will serve as an extension of her foundation’s efforts, further demonstrating her commitment to impacting others’ lives.
