April 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Attorneys Brittany Weiner and Jeanne Christensen, of the law firm Imbesi Christensen, successfully appealed a hearing judge's decision that sustained the Department of Labor's determination that the firm's client, a former employee of Bloomingdale's  was terminated for misconduct.

The Honorable James S. Alesi (member) issued the written decision on behalf of the Appeal Board.

After the initial hearing was concluded, in which the hearing judge rendered a decision in favor of Bloomingdale's, Imbesi Christensen filed an appeal. The Appeal Board overruled the hearing judge's decision and determined that the hearing judge incorrectly ruled that the firm's client was terminated for cause.

The published decision is titled, "Appeal Board No. 578883."  The initial hearing was assigned A.L.J. Case No. 013-40910.
