ATLANTA - April 15, 2014 - PRLog -- On Saturday, April 19, 2014 from 10:00am- 2:00 pm at Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc. (SEM Link) will host its 7th Annual Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Career Fair and Exhibition. This event will take place at Georgia Tech’s Student Center Ballroom is located at 350 Ferst Drive, Atlanta, GA. The Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Career Fair and Exhibition is the signature event for the Math and Science Career Academy. The annual event, which is free and open to the public, allows students to visit and move freely among exhibitor tables and activities.  STEM professionals and graduate students from organizations such as Albany State, American Chemical Society, Coca-Cola, Clorox, Georgia Tech, Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI) among others will be there to share their passion for STEM with attendees, discuss their careers, conduct hands-on demonstrations and showcase real world applications of math and science. “In order to ensure that we have a pipeline for the future STEM workforce, it is important that we introduce students to STEM Careers early. When kids are exposed to their career options early in their K-12 educational experience start on a path that prepares them to be college and career ready upon high school graduation” stated Tokiwa T. Support for the Atlanta STEM Career Fair comes from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia Space Consortium Grant, Coca- Cola African American Technical Network, American Chemical Society Georgia Local Section and Intox Beverage LLC.
