Goodwill Announces Annual Breakthrough Awards
Event honors local businesses and individuals in the Southwest Florida Community
“This event is part of National Goodwill Week and it is only fitting that we observe that by recognizing people in our community that are making a difference and overcoming barriers,” says Goodwill spokesperson Madison Mitchell. “The event brings together the people we serve, Goodwill family, friends, and our community partners. It’s a true celebration of Goodwill.”
This year, Goodwill will be honoring members of the community in several different categories. Tamsyn Reedus and Mark Peirce will both be recognized for their personal achievements through Goodwill. GCG Construction and The Broadway Palm will both be honored for their support of people with disabilities and disadvantages. This year’s Volunteer Breakthrough Award winner is Melissa Mannon, who has been a committed volunteer at Trailways Camp, a camp for adults with disabilities.
Tickets to the Goodwill Breakthrough Awards Luncheon are just $50 per person or $750 for a table sponsorship. To RSVP email MadisonMitchell@
