Florence Savings Bank announces Michael Davey as Community Support Award Winner for 2014

“The Community Support Award Program was established by the Bank in 1997, as a means of formally recognizing employees who are active participants in community events and who donate their personal and professional time to local not-for-profit organizations”
Each year, the award recipient has the opportunity to select a not-for-profit organization of his/her choice, and the Bank makes a donation to that organization. At Davey’s recommendation, Florence Savings Bank will make a donation to the Greenfield Community College Foundation, and to the Four Rivers Charter Public School, a college preparatory middle and high school in Franklin County.
Davey, a Greenfield, MA native, is active in a number of area organizations. He serves on the Board of the United Way of Hampshire County, the Board of the Greenfield Community College Foundation, and as a Board member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Training and Development, based in Amherst, MA. Davey’
Davey is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, where he earned both his Bachelor’s Degree and his Masters of Business Administration. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, cycling, hiking, and other outdoor activities. .
