Vectir VLC Remote Control For Android is Released
After much demand Incendo Technology has released Vectir 3.3.2 complete with a powerful VLC Remote Control for Android.
Powerful playlist, file browser and music browsing features have been built into the VLC remote. Configurable shortcuts to music and media folders on the computer running VLC are available giving users easy access to their media from their Android phone or tablet. Easy to use controls for all of the VLC media player controls such as play/pause, next, previous, stop and volume controls are available in the remote control interface.
Another advantage of using Vectir Remote Control for VLC over the web based remote controls is the ability to adjust the volume all the way up to the user specified settings. By default the VLC volume will adjust up to 125% but it is possible to boost this up to 300% or more in VLC settings. Vectir Remote Control reads this setting and allows the VLC volume to be remotely adjusted across the full range.
Setup and configuration is very simple and users are able to connect to the computer running VLC media player over Bluetooth or WiFi. Vectir Remote Control for VLC is also highly configurable and users are able to easily add their own custom VLC commands and design their own remote control interface.
