2014 RUN 4 VOCATIONS in Albany, NY

ALBANY, N.Y. - April 13, 2014 - PRLog -- Each of us is called by God to live our lives to the fullest as married, single, religious or ordained people.   We call these lifestyles "vocations".   All vocations are sacred and all vocations are a gift to our world.   Each of us has been created to live our lives in the unique vocation God has invited us to live.

The annual RUN 4 VOCATIONS in Albany, N.Y. will be on Saturday, May 3 at Christian Brothers Academy in Albany.  Pre-registration is possible at http://www.albanyvocations.org/run for $20.00 per person, $30.00 per family.   All Walk-in registrations on May 3 or online registrations made after April 15 will be $25.00 per person and $35.00 per family.

The 5K Run and Walk begins promptly at 11:00 AM.  The Registration tables will be open from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

This is a 5K route for both Runners and Walkers.  Lunch is provided for those registered and t-shirts are guaranteed for the first 100 people to register.  A FUN RUN for children, 10 years and younger will take place at Noon.

The theme of the RUN 4 VOCATIONS is "Everyone has a Vocation. What's Yours?"  Instead of asking runners and walkers to bring monetary pledges for the event, we ask them to bring promises of prayer for those being called right now to be faithful spouses, parents, priests, religious, deacons and single community members.
