April 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Bid27,, is an art auction platform with a unique dedication in the way it introduces collectors to emerging artists. Inspired by 27 Rue de Fleurus, Gertrude Stein’s famous art salon of the 20′s, Bid27 serves as a single destination for discovering culturally progressive art while providing informative mentorship for collectors and artists alike. By working with the artists directly, we have a chance to find the hottest works at entry-level price points – sharing unparalleled one-on-one access and friendly consultation.

Bid27's close relationships and commitment to its artist network breeds a symbiotic environment that props up the value of the artists and their work.

Join us at Think Tank Gallery,, for an enchanting creation of art and innovation.  With elusive performance artists, live and online auctions, and a well-curated exhibition, Bid27 has crafted an immersive art buying experience that is both accessible and exciting.

The evening will be presided over by art aficionado, auctioneer, and Bid27 Co-Founder Mark Schustrin. Mark has conducted hundreds of auctions worldwide and sold millions of dollars in art.  He is a member of the National Auctioneer Association, holding multiple specialist certifications. Mark will be joined by Co-Founder and Client Specialist Mark Priceman, of the 213 Loft Company, who has been an integral part of the revitalization of the Downtown Arts District.

Bid27’s auction and launch will feature a performance experience by Yozmit (From Marina Abramovic's “The Artist is Present” at The Museum of Modern Art New York), in addition to paintings by artists such as Johnie Thorton, Seth Armstrong, Ugo Nonis, Fausto Fernandez, Couto Brothers, Robert Grad, Keewon Hong, Steve Martinez, Allison “Hueman” Torneros, Amy Bernays, Caroline Geys, Melly Trochez, Kristine Schomaker, Lindsay Carron, and Hung Viet Nguyen.
