Gigantic DJ Album Sale for Charity

ST. LOUIS - April 11, 2014 - PRLog -- On Saturday, April 26, past and present St. Louis DJs are joining forces to donate the albums they’ve collected from their years in the business for one GIGANTIC sale to benefit charity.  Approximately 5000 items, including vinyl records, CDs and music memorabilia from across the decades will be available to purchase.  Silent auction and raffle opportunities will include everything from never opened classics to collectibles like a test pressing of the Eagles album “Hotel California” signed by the band!  100% of the proceeds will benefit the non-profit Caritas Connections (http://www.caritasconnections.com/).

This “one day only pop-up sale of a lifetime” will be open to the public 10:30am – 3pm on April 26^th at 3137 Locust Street in Midtown, one block west of The Fountain on Locust.  For a $10 fee, serious collectors will receive early access at 9:30am for first pick at the collectables.

OnStL.com’s Ron Stevens is spearheading this event. “Many of my old radio friends talked about selling off their album collections for years, so making it a group effort with current on-air personalities to raise money for the hungry here in St. Louis was enthusiastically received by all.”  DJs from KSHE, WIL, KDHX and KTRS have all donated items with more being dropped off daily up to the date of the sale.  On-air personalities Ron Stevens, Joy Grdnic, Mark Klose, Joe Mama Mason, Ted Habeck, Drew Johnson, Jim Singer, Rik Anthony, Chuck Lavazzi and Tim Rakel will be on hand working the event, so come out and mix and mingle with the St. Louis jocks while helping out a great cause!
