Southern Ocean County Chamber joins MODC in Tourism Alliance for 2014

With the summer season fast approaching Long Beach Island Region and Jersey Shore Regional Destination Marketing Organizations are supporting MODC along with Freeholder efforts to bring business into the heart of the Shore
April 11, 2014 - PRLog -- The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce, who just recently acheived international accrediation as a destination marketing organization through DMAI Washington DC, has joined the efforts of  Monmouth - Ocean Development Council (MODC) for a Summer Kickoff Event on May 21, 2014. This exciting alliance with  MODC also includes  Offices of Monmouth County Tourism, Ocean County Tourism, and the Jersey Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau and is focused on making the 2014 summer season a highlight for businesses and visitors.

On May 21, Monmouth County Freeholder Thomas Arnone, Ocean County Freeholder Director Joseph Vicari and tourism officials from both counties will present galvanizing ideas to stimulate tourism throughout the two counties. This joint press conference will take place on the boardwalk at Tim McCloone’s Supper Club, 1200 Ocean Ave, Asbury Park, NJ at 5:00PM.

After the news conference, MODC will host a Legislative Reception inside Tim McCloone’s Supper Club. To register, please visit The Southern Ocean County Chamber is proud to support this outreach to develop options and partnerships that will hellp increase business for our region.
