Boy inventor empowers kids to change their community using math and science!

Arlington, TX. , April 4, 2014 – A.I.C Publications announced today it will publish the first of a new children’s book series entitled, Ali the Inventor Saves the Garden! on July 5, 2014.

Amir Makin, Author of the new children’s illustrated book series Ali the Inventor: Saves the Garden! is helping to improve the self esteem, and literacy rates of African American children by empowering them with images, messages and stories of strength, self reliance and independence through literature with historically significant ties. The series features a boy inventor/engineer who solves problems in his neighborhood using math and science.

Amir Makin is an activist, youth mentor, and speaker who has fought against the destructive images geared to African Americans. He shares a philosophy to put to excel in his new children’s book series for boys. Ali the Inventor will be available in paperback and ebook at publication.
