Lloyd Klein made a bold statement when he attended the 2nd Annual LA Fashion Awards Saturday evening at Sunset Gower Studios after losing his hair to chemotherapy.
This event marks the first time Lloyd has been seen out since his battle with Cancer and the first time he has publicly announced it to the world, a sentiment he relayed during his
Fashion Icon Award acceptance speech, saying “I will not let this hold me back from doing the thing I love most, Fashion.” In addition to receiving the most prestigious award of the night, Lloyd presented the Contemporary Women’s Award.
Lloyd spent this rare night out chatting up other attendees and who’s of LA Fashion,
Andrea Bernhotlz, smash hit recording artist
Emii, Chris Brown Entertainment artist,
Sabrina Antoinette, and
Mikey Koffman, personality and the event’s producer.
His celebrity clients have been beyond supportive through this rough time. The
Kardashian Family sent a lovely bouquet of flowers with a hand written personal note in support, while other friends including
AnnaLynne McCord,
Paula Abdul and
Natalie Cole have all reached out as well.
