Youth give labor to increase learning in schools

April 9, 2014 - PRLog -- YD-360, a youth group located in Hollywood, Florida, is planning to spend the summer building schools in the Dominican Republic. With the Dominican Republic having one of the highest rates of poverty and lowest rates of illiteracy in the western hemisphere, the ministry of education has stated the they are in drastic need of schools the enhance the education throughout the country.

YD-360 http://www.yd360.org is planning to assist the Maranatha organization in building schools to increase the level of education throughout the Dominican Republic. Maranatha Ministries receives requests from all over the world to construct various buildings. While the primary construction involves churches and schools, once they accept a request, they embark on an extensive plan to coordinate construction and volunteers for each of their projects.  When a project is confirmed and scheduled, Maranatha announces the opportunity to volunteers. Everyone is invited to volunteer, and there are specialized projects available for various types of groups, such as families, teenagers, or young adults. The result is an experience that is culturally and spiritually unforgettable.
