Get America Fit Foundation Offers Powerful Solution for Nation’s Health Care Crisis

Foundation seeks team of Gold Ambassadors to promote health and wellness.

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, Calif. - April 9, 2014 - PRLog -- Summary: The Get America Fit Foundation (GAFF) is designed to offer a long-term solution to the nation’s health care crisis with a focus on health and fitness. To that end, the foundation is recruiting Gold Ambassadors to help inspire more Americans to live happier and healthier lives.

Obesity is the second-leading cause of preventable death in the United States, and a whopping 60 million Americans ages 20 and up are obese. Another nine million children and teens ages 6-19 are overweight, all of which can contribute to increased rates of type 2 diabetes, cancer, heart disease, sleep apnea, hypertension and more. To help combat this growing epidemic, the Get America Fit Foundation (GAFF) is recruiting Gold Ambassadors to help inspire more people across the country to live happier, healthier lives.

The foundation is currently seeking 100,000 ambassadors to help make a difference. Individuals can learn more and apply at http://getamericafit.org/.

“It is clear that there is a major healthcare crisis in this country that’s only getting worse. The Get America Fit Foundation’s Gold Ambassador program was designed to create a team of regular people who are committed to living better lives and inspiring others to do the same through regular exercise and lifecycle enhancement,” said John Spencer Ellis, CEO of the Get America Fit Foundation. “If you want to make a proactive change in your life and those around you, we encourage you to join us in creating a better world today.”

The foundation is recruiting individuals, families, businesses, fitness professionals and health care specialists to help make a stand against obesity. Ambassadors who sign up for free at http://getamericafit.org/ will receive a full series of GAFF Fitness Facts & Figures educational PDF documents, which can be shared with others online and in person. Topics include gluten, heart disease and exercise, osteoporosis and fitness, bullying and childhood obesity, and more. Ambassadors will also receive ongoing updates on ways to make a difference in the health and fitness of more Americans.

“Our team of Gold Ambassadors will be part of the most effective foundation to generate a dynamic impact on the lives of so many kids and adults who need and deserve our help,” Ellis added. “We are determined to get America fit!”
