WARRINGTON, U.K. - April 9, 2014 - PRLog -- An on-line legal discussion forum set up to build awareness of the new free-to-use information and guidance website “Law Plain and Simple” has been so successful that it has developed a life of its own attracting thousands of visitors and generating many hundreds of tweets and postings every week.

“The Legal Hour” – which goes out on twitter between 1pm and 2pm every Wednesday, was the idea of Dave Lister, a director of Warrington-based property search specialists X-Press Legal, the company behind the new website.

“The 'Law Plain and Simple' website was our way of improving public access to the law and legal matters using simple language and we hoped we could attract visitors to the site via an on-line legal discussion slot that would enable people to raise issues, post comments and express opinions about the law in general,” explained Dave, speaking from his office.

“However, I could never have predicted how incredibly popular this legal slot has become. Every week we are inundated with hundreds of tweets expressing an incredibly wide range of views or asking for help and guidance on a variety of legal issues. And this on-line activity has boosted the number of people clicking onto ‘Law Plain and Simple’ to more than 20,000.

“We also have a growing input from the legal profession who I believe value this opportunity to communicate directly with the general public via tweets during 'The Legal Hour'”.

However, it’s not just British lawyers who check out 'The Legal Hour'. Lawyers and legal professionals professionals from the USA, New Zealand and France have tweeted comments.

“'The Legal Hour' has now got an army of supporters who take an active part in the on-line discussions and I see it continuing to grow in popularity week by week,” added Dave. “It has been embraced by the legal community and looks set to remain a key on-line destination for anybody with a law-based comment and or experience.”
