Central Veterinary Associates Joins Annual “Pets & Pals” Party by Offering Microchip Clinic
For a $25 donation, the veterinarians from Central Veterinary Associates, Bayside Animal Clinic, and Boulevard Animal Clinic will protect your pet with a Home Again microchip. For an additional $18, your pet will be registered onsite for life. All donations will go to benefit the Alley Pond Environmental Center (APEC), the New York City Veterinary Emergency Response Team (NYCVERT), and Bobbi and the Strays, a not-for-profit no-kill shelter based in Glendale, Queens.
In addition to the clinic, there will be raffle prizes, rides, games, arts and crafts, giveaways, animal demonstrations, pet adoptions, and more. Proceeds from the raffle sales will also go to benefit APEC, NYC VERT and Bobbi and the Strays. “Pets and Pals” is presented by Northeast Queens Park Administrators.
“We at Central Veterinary Associates are proud to work alongside these organizations that sponsor this community event,” said Dr. John Charos, President/CEO, Central Veterinary Associates. “We hope all pets and pet owners enjoy their time at this event, as it is a day to embrace our love for animals. We encourage all owners to take advantage of the microchip station. It is an essential tool to keep your pets safe.”
