UVU Social Justice Poetry Slam

ODESSA, Texas - April 8, 2014 - PRLog -- CALLING ALL POETS!!!  UVU is looking for poets to participate in a Social Justice Poetry Slam. This is an open call!!

A poetry slam is a unmoderated competition at which poets read or recite original work. These performances are then judged on a numeric scale by previously selected members of the audience.

UVU is dedicated to our community in Odessa, Ector County and the Permian Basin, Texas. We are non-partisan and non-connected to any political party. We are a Non Profit Association.  Our goal is to empower our community through education, develop leaders, and speak for or against issues that affect our community at large.
