Myrtle Beach Pet Friendly Realtors Annual Animal Food Drive

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - April 8, 2014 - PRLog -- The latest project a group of local real estate agents is hosting is an event designed to collect pet food donations and raise awareness for The Grand Strand Humane Society.  Jerry Pinkas Real Estate Experts will host and is collecting cat and dog food for its 2014 Annual Pet Food Drive on Friday April 11, 2014, 11:00am to 3:00pm. Volunteers are collecting food Items needed include canned dog food, canned cat food, dry dog food, dry cat food, dog treats, cat treats and cat litter. Items can be dropped off at their real estate office in Myrtle Beach, SC.  Their offices are located at 604 N. 27^th Ave Myrtle Beach SC 29577. Radios Stations Wave 104.1 and Star 92.1 will be on site with live broadcasts during this event.  All donations for the Humane Society are welcome and appreciated.

The JP Real Estate Team will be grilling hot dogs, serving drinks and will be giving them out for FREE to anyone who drops off a bag of pet food or makes a donation during the event. Guests may even wish to adopt a pet during this event as the humane society will also have volunteers on-site. The Realtors are asking the entire Myrtle Beach Community to come out and help support the work that these volunteers do on a daily basis.

The Grand Strand Humane Society takes in animals brought in by the City of Myrtle Beach Animal Control. They are committed to the care and humane treatment of all homeless and abandoned animals. The Grand Strand Humane Society made the decision to step out of the cookie-cutter style of shelters and stop euthanizing healthy, adoptable animals for space. This decision has increased the financial struggle for this local humane society, but they will continue finding every healthy, adoptable animal as it is financially feasible.

It’s all about giving back to the community with Jerry Pinkas Real Estate.  This team performs many hours of volunteer work and project building. They help at the local soup kitchen, The Grand Strand Humane Society, Make-A-Wish foundation of South Carolina, Fostering Hope for children in foster care in the Community, as well as many volunteer, civic and community service projects.
