Aurangabad: In case of shocking neglect, at a time when politicians are criss-crossing the skies on choppers, an injured CRPF officer died pleading for a chopper that could rush him to the hospital. He allegedly received no medical help for hours.

The CRPF Deputy Commandant was hurt in an IED blast on Monday. The blast took place in Aurangabad district in Bihar in which three CRPF personals killed including Commandant Indrajeet Singh and constables Pawan Kumar and T Panna.

According to media reports blast took place around 11 am on Monday but injured Indrajeet could not get any help till 5 pm. There was no ambulance available on the spot and he was taken to the local hospital in a private bus. Even at the local hospital there were no senior doctors present.

After the blast, seriously injured Indrajeet kept on crying for medical help. He told his colleagues and officials to save him as he had two small children to take care of.

Refusing to react on the issue, DG CRPF, Dilip Trivedi said "Support couldn't reach in time to our DC Inderjeet and that is a matter of inquiry. We have ordered IG level investigation. We can't say anything before that."
