Corky's Is About to be Uncorked
The expansion, an intimate setting, with the distinct craftsmanship of Roberts, who built both the bar and walk-in humidor, includes wine, gourmet cheeses, fine cigars, Wagyu beef and retail. Similar venues exist in larger cities, but this will be a first for the city of Easley.
“There are already a great many wine and cheese enthusiasts and numerous cigar aficionados in the area and now they can enjoy being able to purchase and partake right in their own back yards without having to travel to other cities,” said Laura Messer, local resident and interior designer of the bar.
The expansion, set to open April 11, 2014, has two rocking chairs on either side of a whiskey barrel out front. It is Roberts’ unique blend of Southern hospitality and comfort, the cosmopolitan and the eclectic, which, like an exceptionally good wine, is about to be uncorked.
