Big Bang for your Buck! Mobile or Desktop Web?

April 7, 2014 - PRLog -- The phrase "Bigger bang for the Buck" was notably used by U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower's Secretary of Defence, Charles Erwin Wilson, in 1954. He used it to describe the New Look policy of depending on nuclear weapons, rather than a large regular army, to keep the Soviet Union in check. Today, the phrase is used to mean a greater worth for the money used.

Well we have to say Mr Erwin was on the money (Although we don’t need a bomb for business) but he is right and so is the phrase as it’s a good idea to get “Greater Worth for the Money used”

The big question that must be asked?

WHY DOESN’T BUSINESSS GET THAT? Why do they keep spending big money for small gains?

Yep business today will still run down the path of spending the national debt on a desktop website and all sorts of SEO and Social Media stuff to support that big screen when very few people are looking at it.

They will fill that big huge website with enough information to make Wikipedia envious, add more flash than a Rio Carnival, more speed lowering special effects than a Transformer Movie and have to steal money from their Children’s Piggy bank to pay for it. But when asked to spend money on a Mobile Site? “We don’t have the budget” for that they will cry!

We will just make our Super Star website Mobile Friendly.

Well I’m here to tell you there is nothing friendly about making your website try and cut it in the mobile world, sort of like using an elephant as a daily commuter. Yes it will get you there but wow will it cause some damage along the way!

Yes it’s time to trade in that Elephant called a desktop site and get into a Nippy customer efficient Mobile Site. You will be smiling as your customers now zip in and view what they want to see, all loading fast and with ease. Pressing buttons to call you, to book a table, to send you a message, share the joy on Social Media.

The best part? It costs you a quarter of the cost of an Elephant! Yep, Mobile Websites really do offer you, “More bang for your Buck”
