Town to Proclaim May 3rd 2014 as KA Day at Town Council Meeting, Town Hall, Tuesday, April 15 at 7pm
HOLLY SPRINGS– At 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15 at the Town Council Meeting, KA Day activities kick off when Kiwanians, along with Terrific Kid awardees, ask the Mayor & Town Council to proclaim Saturday, May 3, 2014 the 12th Annual Kids Appreciation
At KA Day, each child will receive a free slice of The Original NY Pizza, a free Pelican’s SnoBall, a "Friends of Youth" raffle ticket and a lot of entertainment from vendors and F&M Entertainment’
The Town of Holly Springs Parks and Recreation co-sponsors the event, and Holly Springs and Middle Creek High Schools' Key Clubs and the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Board help out to make it a fun event. Local vendors offer activities and freebies to the children and their families. The Holly Springs Fire and Police Departments are there too. Entertainment will include DJ Baldy and the Holly Springs School oofj of Dance.
All individuals, organizations or businesses interested in taking part in this end- of-school year community celebration are invited to sign up to be a vendor or become a sponsor of the event.
