Herb Duerr Joins MX Mining Advisory Board
Herb Duerr brings with him over 25 years of experience in base and precious metal mineral exploration. He has been involved in major mineral discoveries in North America and the Caribbean including the Alligator Ridge deposit in Nevada, Montana Tunnels in Montana and recent work on the Cala Abajo in Puerto.
Mr. Duerr’s experience includes identification, evaluation, and acquisition of base and precious metal deposits with an emphasis in the United States, Central America, and the Caribbean. He is currently the President of Desert Pacific, Inc and an officer in Nevada Mine Properties II.
He has been involved in exploration and drilling of three major mines in the U.S., acquisition of at least 15 metal resources, and worked with major mining companies on the examination of over a thousand mineral properties.
Mr. Duerr was in charge of prospect generation for two ventures similar to MinQuest between 1984 and 1994 in the Western U.S. These ventures were eventually sold for a significant return on investment. Mr. King commented, “This was a vital element for us. Herb’s field experience in the industry is unquestionable, but the fact that he brought with him a successful track record in comparable projects and has a clear understanding of our ultimate business strategy was an added bonus for MX Mining and its shareholders.”
He has held positions in companies such as North Mining, Brancote, WX Syndicate, U.S. Minerals Exploration, BP Minerals and American Selco. His experience includes evaluating over 200 properties in the U.S. for Rio Algom (U.S. porphyry copper-gold)
