He had devoted the majority of this time to maintenance area efforts with most of his career being devoted to improving the reliability of his plant and other US and European locations. Mr. Harris has been a reliability consultant for 10 years and has performed training in the US, and 15 other countries. Mr. Harris owns Reliable Process Solutions in which he performs training in the areas of Lubrication, RCM, Predictive technologies and Proactive Maintenance techniques. Phil Baker is a Certified Lubrication Instructor and is an employee/owner of Hydrotex, a high performance synthetic lubricant manufacturer founded in 1936. Principles of Lubrication begins with subjects such as “Why Lubricate” and “Different Lubrication Practices”. It also covers what specific lubricants must accomplish in order to protect valuable equipment and defines the real cost of a lubricant. Mr. Baker is currently studying for the Certified Lubrication Specialist exam administered by STLE (Society of Tribology and Lubrication Consultants), and also holds a CFR 172.704 HAZMAT certification. Mr. Baker is the author of “Grease is Just Grease, Right?” which discusses many reliability practices manufacturers can implement to save money and time.
