Noted Acoustic Power Pop Singer-Songwriter Performs in Tempe at Xtreme Bean Coffee on February 7th

TEMPE, Ariz. - Jan. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Noted San Diego area rock/power-pop singer-songwriter Scott Samuels debuts in the Phoenix area on Saturday, February 7th, 7:30pm at Xtreme Bean Coffee, 1707 E. Sourthern Ave. in Tempe. Samuels will be performing songs from his three CDs, ”The Fall”, "Live at Uncommon Ground" and “Great Big World", as well as songs from his upcoming album, "Fabulous Reality.

Samuels and bassist Kevin Lydy will perform two sets of music, from 7:30 to 9:30pm.

From 2000-2010, Samuels led Roxy Monoxide, a well-known band amongst aficionados of the power-pop genre of rock n’ roll. Throughout his life, Samuels’ love for rock and roll’s “hidden treasure” and his unique ability to recount the quirkiest milestones of live, love and career, has fueled his songwriting and performances.  His simple, honest and unpretentious vocal style has drawn comparisons to Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum, and Elvis Costello, among others.  Over the years, Samuels has performed alongside such artists as The Fixx, Steve Wynn & Miracle Three, Bow Wow Wow, Third Eye Blind, D-Generation, Tommy Keene, and others.

In mid-March, Samuels kicks off a tour of the Midwest and East Coast, in conjunction with the release of "Fabulous Reality."
