Downtown Mobile Historic Renovation Project Designed by Odom Architects
Odom Architects leveraged the building’s character – an historic exposed-brick and wood beam structure – with a predominately open office plan on the second floor with frosted glass office fronts along the perimeter. Natural light combined with daylight harvesting features, crisp lines and clean aesthetic create a professional working environment that seamlessly blends old and new to reflect the bold and diverse brand of Red Square Gaming/RSQ who is moving from their current location at 202 Government Street.

The design concept for NAI-Mobile, a real estate firm serving the business community of southern Alabama and the central Gulf Coast, focuses on various connections central to the firm’s philosophy. Sustainable reclaimed materials connect the new space and the building’s rich history, and an eclectic mix of found objects reflect the variety of individuals, clients and processes that comprise this company.
Odom Architects was involved in the 2009 renovation of 202 Government Street building for Red Square Gaming/RSQ. Established in 2007, the firm’s resume ranges from the planning and design of office buildings, outparcel development, warehouse projects to interior remodels, renovations and additions for educational, business, retail, private sector and restaurant clients.
Principal Angie Odom received the Greene Award for Architecture in 2012 from the Boston Architectural College.
