-- RINGGOLD, Ga. – Dr. Hubert F. Sturges, a Grand Junction resident, recently published a book titled More Than a Promise: The Everlasting Covenant as Presented Throughout History.
The book traces actions through Scripture and history to reveal the steps the Trinity took to fulfill their redemptive commitment to humanity.
Sturges wrote the book in hopes that God's covenant will be better understood as an everlasting covenant with all people. He also argues convincingly and biblically that there is continuity in God's covenants with the human race when comparing the Old Testament and New Testament covenants.
During his career, Sturges served as a medical missionary in Ethiopia in addition to practicing medicine in Colorado and California. Now retired, Sturges resides in Grand Junction and has devoted a great deal of time to studying and writing about the covenant of God.More Than A Promise
