Sonny & Jazzie of LouddMouthradio.com Launches "MayDay" a Georgia Marriage Equality Initiative

ATLANTA - April 3, 2014 - PRLog -- LouddMouthradio.com Personalities Sabrina "Sonny" & Joyce "Jazzie" Jones-Smith are launching a statewide initiative to take a stand on Marriage Equality in the State of Georgia. The couple was inspired by the "Southerners for the Freedom to Marry" Press Conference held in Atlanta, Georgia with Evan Wolfson-President of Freedom To Marry & Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed February 2014. The initiative invoked newly elected In the Life Atlanta (ITLA) board members Sonny & Jazzie into taking action as a same gender loving couple & "media voice" to encourage the 21,000+ same sex couples living in Georgia currently to go to their local county courthouse and apply for a marriage license on May 1st, 2014.

Strategically coined as the #MayDay Georgia Marriage Equality Campaign for May 1st, 2014". The hashtag #MayDayGaEquality has been created by Sonny & Jazzie for civil & human equality in Georgia.

Historically #MayDay" has been used as a distress signal in voice procedures in radio communication, which was only a befitting title for these same gender loving radio personalities.

They (along with the other hundreds of thousands of same gender loving & LGBTQ couples living in the South) realize the applicants will be denied a marriage license, but the applicants will be recorded & recognized. Sonny & Jazzie had to travel to the District of Columbia, which is one of only 17 states that do recognize same sex marriages. The media couple has since been featured on the HuffingtonPost.com Wedding Website on March 31, 2014.
